Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy

§1. General Provisions

  1. The data controller is DATAMOMENTUM with its registered office at 1756 Hanshaw Road Ithaca, NY 14850. Data protection is carried out in accordance with the requirements of applicable law, and data storage takes place on secured servers.
  2. For the interpretation of terms, the glossary of the Terms and Conditions is used, or as described in the Privacy Policy (if directly derived from the description).
  3. For the purpose of better understanding of the Privacy Policy, the term "User" has been replaced with "You", "Administrator" – "We". The term "GDPR" means the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC.
  4. We respect the right to privacy and ensure data security. For this purpose, secure communication encryption protocols (SSL) are used, among other measures.
  5. Personal data provided in the form is treated as confidential and is not visible to unauthorized persons.

§2. Data Controller

  1. The service provider is the data controller of its customers' data. This means that if you have an Account on our website or have sent a message using a form, giving appropriate consent to data processing, we process your data such as: name, surname, address, email address, company name, telephone number, IP address.
  2. Personal data is processed:

    a. in accordance with the regulations on personal data protection,

    b. according to the implemented Privacy Policy,

    c. to the extent and for the purpose necessary to establish, shape the content of the Agreement, change or terminate it, and for the proper performance of Services provided electronically,

  3. Each person whose data we process (if we are their controller) has the right to access the data, rectify, delete or limit processing, the right to object, the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

  5. We reserve the right to process your data after the termination of the Agreement or withdrawal of consent only to the extent required for the establishment, pursuit of claims before a court, or if national or EU regulations or international law obliges us to retain data.
  6. The service provider has the right to provide the User's personal data and other data to entities authorized under the relevant legal provisions (e.g., law enforcement authorities).
  7. Deletion of personal data may occur as a result of withdrawing consent or lodging legally permissible objection to the processing of personal data.
  8. The service provider does not disclose personal data to other entities than those authorized under the relevant legal provisions.
  9. Personal data is processed only by persons authorized by us or processors with whom we closely cooperate.

§3. Cookies

  1. The datamomentum.pl website uses cookies. These are small text files sent by the www server and stored by the browser software on the user's computer. When the browser reconnects to the site, the site recognizes the type of device from which the user connects. Parameters allow to read the information contained in them only to the server that created them. Cookies facilitate the use of previously visited websites. Collected information concerns the IP address, type of browser used, language, type of operating system, ISP, information about the time and date, location, and information sent to the website via the contact form.
  2. The collected data is used to monitor and check how users use our websites to improve the functioning of the service, providing a more efficient and seamless navigation. We monitor user behavior on the site using Google Analytics, which records user behavior on the site.

    Cookies identify the user, which allows to adapt the content of the website to his needs. By remembering his preferences, it allows to properly adjust the displayed advertisements. We use cookies to ensure the highest standard of comfort of our service, and the collected data is used only within the Datamomentum company for optimization purposes.

  3. We use the following types of cookies on our website:

    a) "necessary" cookies enabling the use of services available within the service, e.g., authentication cookies used for services requiring authentication within the service;

    b) cookies for ensuring security, e.g., used to detect abuse in terms of authentication within the service;

    c) "performance" cookies, enabling the collection of information on how users use the website;

    d) "functional" cookies, enabling "remembering" user-selected settings and personalizing the user interface, e.g., in terms of the selected language or region from which the user comes, font size, appearance of the website, etc.;

  4. By default, software for browsing websites allows cookies to be placed on the user's end device. These settings can be changed by the user to block the automatic handling of "cookies" in the web browser settings or to inform about their every transfer to the user's device.
